The International Federation of Hard of Hearing People, IFHOH, is an international, non-governmental organization, representing the interests of more than 300 million hard of hearing people world wide.
IFHOH is registered as a charitable organization at Vereinsregister Amtsgericht Hamburg, Germany (Nr. 69 VR 10 527) and is also an International Non-Governmental Organization having special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
It also works closely with the World Health Organization, having agreed a two-year joint work programme for developing countries with the Prevention of Blindness and Deafness section of that Organization.
